Hal Van Aken will present a program on the rebuilding of the Hasbrouck-Borden-Hoyt House: From the ashes on that fateful December 2009 evening, we will be shown the restoration of this historic house.

This is a preview of an actual guided "hard hat" tour of the premises to be held on Saturday, September 10th at 10:00 am at Alex Hoyt's Hasbrouck House.

Bob Mooney will present our program "The Honey Bee", a historical and local perspective.

Wednesday: November 2nd 2011 at 7:30 pm - Town Hall Community Room

William L. Staats, a Hudson Valley Community College retiree, will talk about the Hoogebergh House: A more-than-three-centuries-old stone house in Schodack, South of Albany, which has been the property of the Staats family for 11 generations (1696 - 2009). Now a historic treasure of the Upper Hudson Region, we will hear about the warm stories and dangerous exploits of the family as written in his book Three Centuries on the Hudson River.

Our Potluck Christmas meeting will be at 6:00 pm. Please bring your own place settings and a covered dish;. Coffee and punch will be provided.
